Trippier worry for Clarets
In-form Burnley look set to be without arguably their two best players again for Doncaster's visit to Turf Moor.
The Clarets, who are now without a league defeat in 13 games and still have a 10-point advantage in the automatic promotion race, are definitely missing England Under-21 international Danny Ings and probably right-back Kieran Trippier too.
Top scorer Ings, who has 25 goals to his credit, has an ankle injury and will not be considered again until around mid-April while Trippier has a hamstring problem, although his ailment is less serious and is being monitored day to day.
Ings' void should again be filled by Ashley Barnes, who marked his first Clarets start by opening his account for Sean Dyche's side in the 3-0 win over Charlton. Chris Baird made his debut in that fixture in Trippier's right-back slot and will hope to continue should the former Manchester City defender miss out.
Doncaster travel with no new problems.
Paul Quinn, Chris Brown and Mark Duffy all recovered from their respective injury and illness issues to start on Saturday and complete the full 90 minutes against Sheffield Wednesday. The trio have suffered no ill effects following the 1-0 win in the South Yorkshire derby and will all be involved again on Tuesday night at Turf Moor.
It remains to be seen whether Gabriel Tamas will be able to return to the squad after the centre-half uunderwent surgery on his fractured cheekbone last week. He is likely to have a protective mask fitted which will allow him to return sooner than expected.
Rovers boss Paul Dickov has the likes of Dean Furman, Marc De Val Fernandez and Theo Robinson available should he wish to make any changes to his starting line-up.
