Burnley bring in defender Edgar

Burnley manger Owen Coyle has added defender David Edgar to his squad after his contract with Newcastle expired. The 22-year-old Canadian defender has signed a four-year deal with the newly promoted Premier League side. His age means that Burnley will have to agree a fee to compensate the Magpies for the switch.
