Burnley winger George Porter will spend the rest of the season on loan at Colchester.

The 20-year, who is yet to feature for the Clarets since his summer move from from Leyton Orient, came on as a late substitute during the League One outfit's New Year's Day defeat to Crawley. U's boss Joe Dunne told his club's official website: "George is a very quick young player who has great attacking qualities.

"He has caused us many problems in the past when he was playing for Leyton Orient and we are pleased to have him in the building in terms of adding quality and hunger to the team."
