Burnley v Watford preview

Team news for Saturday afternoon's Championship clash between Burnley and Watford at Turf Moor.[LNB] Burnley boss Eddie Howe could hand debuts to several summer signings when his side open their campaign.[LNB]The Clarets this week awarded goalkeeper Jon Stewart a one-year contract following a successful trial spell at Turf Moor.[LNB]The former Bournemouth stopper, 22, featured in three pre-season games as a substitute at Bury, Torquay and Oldham.[LNB]His arrival followed the acquisition of Preston winger Keith Treacy for an undisclosed fee and the recruitment of rookie Manchester City duo Ben Mee and Kieran Trippier on season-long loans.[LNB]Chris Eagles, Tyrone Mears, Clarke Carlisle and Chris Iwelumo head the list of summer departures but Martin Paterson could feature against the Hornets after Burnley turned down bids from Portsmouth for the fit-again striker.[LNB]Chris Iwelumo is set to make his debut against his former employers.[LNB]The imposing striker completed a summer switch from the Clarets to Vicarage Road for an undisclosed fee and has shaken off a hamstring strain to be available for what is Sean Dyche's first match as a manager.[LNB]Dyche, previously assistant boss, replaced Malky Mackay in the dugout followed the Scot's move to Cardiff and he is also set to call upon one or two more of his summer additions, who include Mark Yeates, David Mirfin, Carl Dickinson, Prince Buaben, Craig Forsyth and Tom James.[LNB]Dyche has virtually a fully-fit squad for the season opener, with only long-term absentee Steve McGinn (knee) unavailable for the foreseeable future.
