Clarets missing banned pair

Burnley manager Sean Dyche will be without suspended duo Michael Duff and Chris McCann for Watford's trip to Turf Moor.

The experienced defender and his midfield counterpart both picked up their fifth bookings of the season during last weekend's 2-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest and will therefore miss out against Dyche's former club.

Otherwise, the Clarets boss has a fully-fit squad to pick from as he looks to steer his side to a first home victory in over a month, their last coming in the 1-0 win over Leeds on November 6.

The Clarets sit 17th in the npower Championship table but are just five points behind their opponents, who currently occupy the last of the play-off places.

Watford could be without Fernando Forestieri once more.

The on-loan striker missed the Hornets' 2-1 defeat to Hull after picking up a hamstring injury in training ahead of the game, and remains a doubt.

Fellow Udinese striker Matej Vydra was selected in Forestieri's place against the Tigers and is expected to be handed another start alongside Troy Deeney, who will equal a club record if he finds the net for the seventh successive game.

Midfielder John Eustace has returned to training following a back injury, but the trip to Turf Moor will come too soon for a return. Fellow midfielder Prince Buaben completed 45 minutes for the reserves in midweek on his return from a thigh injury, but is not expected to be involved.

Defenders Lloyd Doyley and Nyron Nosworthy remain sidelined with hamstring problems.
