Vokes may start for Clarets

Burnley could hand a start to Sam Vokes for the visit of Nottingham Forest after his dramatic late equaliser at Watford.

Vokes came off the bench against the high-flying Hornets with 11 minutes remaining to help them fight back to earn a 3-3 draw.

Defender Ben Mee is also in line for a return after serving a one-match suspension for the red card he received in the Lancashire derby against Blackburn Rovers.

Manager Sean Dyche could also welcome back Dean Marney following his absence with a calf injury. The game on Good Friday came too soon for the former Hull man but he is in contention to make his return against Forest.

Henri Lansbury is expected to keep his place in the heart of Nottingham Forest's midfield.

The former Arsenal man recovered from shin and ankle problems in time to score a last-gasp equaliser in Saturday's 2-2 draw with fellow play-off hopefuls Brighton and is likely to start once again at Turf Moor.

Davies could bring Marcus Tudgay back into the squad following his recovery from a broken collarbone.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Khaled Al Rashidi (back) and defenders Dan Harding (calf) and Daniel Ayala (hamstring) have returned to training and are available.

Forest are now unbeaten in eight games since the return of manager Billy Davies and sit fifth in the npower Championship table with seven games left to play.
