Marney misses Foxes fixture

Dean Marney begins a two-match suspension as Burnley bid to claim the win and margin of victory needed to unseat Leicester at the top of the Sky Bet Championship.

Central midfielder Marney accrued his 10th yellow card of the season and will now miss the next two contests with boss Sean Dyche needing to find a new partner for David Jones.

The Clarets need to win by two goals at Turf Moor to overtake the Foxes at the summit yet they will again have to do without top scorer Danny Ings (ankle), although Ashley Barnes, taken off late on in Tuesday's 2-0 win over Doncaster, is fine after a knock.

Dyche's men have kept back-to-back clean sheets but will likely be without Kieran Trippier. The right-back is progressing well from a hamstring injury yet Dyche is mindful that, without a midweek game next week, his return may come at the manager's old club Watford.

Leicester have no new problems.

Foxes boss Nigel Pearson has plenty of options, primarily in midfield and attack, should he wish to make changes to his starting line-up.

Dean Hammond, Andy King, Lloyd Dyer, Kevin Phillips and Chris Wood were all on the bench against Yeovil in midweek.

Liam Moore, comfortable at full-back and at centre-half, provides an alternative in defence as Leicester look for a first clean sheet in four matches.
