Clarets waiting on Mee

Ben Mee will be hoping to overcome his thigh strain as Burnley host Huddersfield at Turf Moor in the Sky Bet Championship.

The full-back had been a virtual ever-present prior to the last two contests but has missed both of those clashes through injury, although the Clarets insist the problem is not serious, with Daniel Lafferty likely to fill in again should Mee miss a third successive game.

Sean Dyche has one of the most settled starting line-ups in the division but loanee Michael Kightly will hope to wrestle back his starting berth from Keith Treacy, who got the nod at Wigan.

Burnley, who are still missing long-term absentee Ross Wallace (knee), have failed to score in their last two outings but remain in the Championship's upper echelons.

Huddersfield's leading goalscorer James Vaughan remains doubtful due to a knee injury.

The 12-goal striker has missed the last two matches so Danny Ward has started up front alongside Martin Paterson and, as both were on target against Yeovil, boss Mark Robins could stick with the same partnership if Vaughan is not fit.

Defender Anthony Gerrard started on the substitutes' bench against Yeovil after sustaining an ankle injury in the previous game so Robins must decide whether to recall him or retain Joel Lynch at centre-back.

Robins has no new injury or suspension problems as his side bid to extend their unbeaten league run to four matches.
