Dyche waits on duo

Burnley boss Sean Dyche will assess the fitness of Danny Lafferty and Brian Stock ahead of Derby's visit to Turf Moor.

Unspecified injuries ruled both men out of Saturday's 2-2 at Birmingham, with Stock missing out on the Clarets' matchday squad for the first time since joining from Doncaster in the summer.

Joseph Mills came in for Lafferty at left-back, where Ben Mee (medial knee ligament) will not return until the new year.

Danny Ings is expected to make a third consecutive start in attack having netted his first goal of the season at St Andrew's and having apparently put serious knee injury problems behind him.

Burnley are without a win in five games since beating Hull 1-0 on November 24, drawing four of those matches.

Derby have no new injury concerns.

Gareth Roberts (calf), midfielders Will Hughes (ankle) and Craig Bryson (knee), and striker Conor Sammon (calf) all shrugged off niggles to face Hull on Friday and came through the defeat unscathed.

Nigel Clough's men were beaten at home in the league for only the second time this season against the Tigers, a 2-1 loss, and the Pride Park boss has a number of options should he opt to make changes.

Defender Mark O'Brien is back to full fitness following cramp and illness and could push James O'Connor for his starting place.

Top scorer Theo Robinson and Ben Davies both came off the bench and are in line for recalls to the starting XI.

Teenage defender Valentin Gjokaj is a further option for Clough, as the Rams eye up successive away victories for the first time since August 2011.
