Burnley sign Cork

Jack Cork is returning to Burnley on a season long loan, the news coming less than 24 hours after the devastating news on Chris McCann's injury. Cork joined Burnley in January of this year and impressed everyone with some of his performances in the midfield and he signed off with a goal in the 4-2 win against Spurs before returning to Chelsea.Brian Laws never hid his desire to bring Cork back, and the player himself admitted he would be open to a return should the opportunity arise.Just last week, Brian Laws told Clarets Mad at the Laying Down The Laws Evening, that he was in contact with the player and would love to see him back at Burnley although he did confirm that the player would obviously take an opportunity to play in the Premier League. But the Clarets moved quickly after the McCann news yesterday and Cork will sign a season long loan deal today.
