Burnley set to clinch Delfouneso move
With Martin Paterson, Steven Thompson and now Charlie Austin ruled out with injury Burnley look set to bring in a striker on loan with Aston Villa's Nathan Delfouneso believed to be the target. It was reported over the weekend that Villa boss Gerard Houllier was ready to loan out some of his younger players including Delfouneso and Barry Bannan who signed for Leeds yesterday.It was said then that a number of Championship clubs were chasing the England Under-21 striker but Burnley look set to get ahead of them all and bring him to Turf Moor for the rest of the season. The deal could go through in time for him to play tonight at Hull.
