Burnley put a £3 million price on Mears

Two Premier League clubs, Bolton and Wigan, are said to be watching the situation at Burnley regarding right back Tyrone Mears who is still looking to get back to the top flight. Mears was Burnley's first Premier League signing last summer when he arrived from Derby on a three year deal, but since relegation there has been constant speculation that he wants to go.He reported back for pre-season training last Thursday, but this morning's reports are suggesting that Mears has made it clear that he'd like to move on. Burnley, it is said, are keen to keep hold of the full back but have put a £3 million value on him should the situation become such that a sale becomes inevitable.Bolton and Wigan are the two clubs believed to be monitoring the situation, but that valuation will surely push Bolton right out of the running, unless they can force the sale of Gary Cahill they so desperately need.
