Burnley have been drawn to play at Port Vale in the first round of the Capital One Cup.

The Clarets, relegated from the Barclays Premier League last month, faced the Sky Bet League One club at the same stage and venue three years ago and won 3-1. All f irst-round ties will be played during the week commencing August 10.

Hull and QPR, also back in the Football League, will travel to Accrington and Yeovil respectively.

Conference champions Barnet have been rewarded with a trip to London rivals Millwall and fellow Football League newcomers Bristol Rovers will take on Birmingham at home.

Leeds and Doncaster will contest an all-Yorkshire affair at the Keepmoat Stadium and 2013 finalists Bradford will travel to local rivals York.

Sheffield United, last season's semi-finalists, will travel to Morecambe, League One side Peterborough and Crawley, relegated to League Two, will clash at London Road and Dagenham and Redbridge will bid to cause an upset at London rivals Charlton.

Derby, who reached the quarter-finals last season, will head south to take on Portsmouth and two-time winners Wolves have been handed a home draw against Newport.

Both Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest have been drawn to play at home against Mansfield and Walsall respectively, while Cardiff, who lost on penalties to Liverpool in the 2012 final, will entertain AFC Wimbledon.

Fulham, who have never made the final in the competition, will take on Gareth Ainsworth's beaten League Two play-off finalists Wycombe at Adams Park and newly-promoted Championship side MK Dons have a home tie against Leyton Orient.

Wigan, relegated to League One, have been drawn to play local rivals and newly-promoted Bury at the DW Stadium, ensuring the two sides will meet at least three times next season.

Middlesbrough, winners in 2004 and finalists in 1997 and 1998, have been handed a tough draw at Oldham, Reading will travel to Colchester and a south-west derby will take place at the County Ground between Swindon and Exeter.
