Burnley are away in the Carling Cup
Burnley have been drawn away against Morecambe in the second round of the Carling Cup, travelling to play the team that put out Coventry City in the first round. This will be our first ever competitive game against Morecambe who were promoted into the Football League three years ago and will also be our first ever visit to their new ground, the Globe Arena.They won through last night with two goals from Andy Fleming, one of a number of shocks as Championship sides fell to teams from lower divisions.Our trip to Morecambe will be played on either 24th or 25th August.The full draw to follow:
