Brentford loan interest in Claret Dan Agyei.

Brentford who are on the verge of selling star striker Scott Hogan to West Ham United are showing a keen interest in taking Burnley's rapidly developing 19 year old striker Dan Agyei on loan.

Agyei has just returned to Turf Moor following a successful loan spell at Coventry City where he netted four times for the Blues.

It is understood Burnley gaffer Sean Dyche wants the young striker to jump into the Championship and continue his progress playing in the second tier of English football.

The Clarets and the Bees have a recent history of successful transfer dealings. Former Brentford stars Andre Gray and James Tarkowski are now plying their trade in the Burnley Premier League squad.

Brentford boss Dean Smith is looking to replace what looks to be the inevitable departure of Scott Hogan and the Kingston upon Thames born Agyei is an obvious choice for the Bees.

Griffin Park may be losing Hogan but the arrival of one of the hottest prospects in English football may soften the blow for the fans in the London Borough of Hounslow. (TEC).
