Burnley have handed veteran midfielder Graham Branch a fresh 12-month deal to stay at Turf Moor.

The 34-year-old has spent the last seven years at the club and after making nearly 300 appearances for the Clarets, boss Steve Cotterill has decided to reward his loyalty.

Branch has managed 28 appearances so far this season and believes he still has enough in his engine for one more season.

"I am looking forward to it. The legs might not be what they were ten years ago, but I still feel that I have something to offer," said Branch.

"My form has been good this season. I think next year will be a good one for the team."
