Blake: Boss won't settle for 17th

The Clarets are preparing to return to the top flight after a 33-year absence following their play-off final success against Sheffield United. Blake freely admits he would gladly settle for 17th place in the table next season but knows his ultra-ambitious manager will be aiming higher. Blake told the Lancashire Telegraph: "I think you ask every team that should be down there if they'd take 17th, then I'm pretty sure they'll say yes. "But I'm pretty sure the gaffer's so positive he won't want to settle for 17th. He'll want to push higher than that, so that's what we've got to aim for."
