Bartley set for Burnley debut

Burnley boss Eddie Howe could hand a debut to new signing Marvin Bartley in the home clash with promotion rivals Norwich. The 24-year-old midfielder this week signed a three-and-a-half year deal with the npower Championship club after leaving Bournemouth for an undisclosed fee. However, striker Martin Paterson looks set for a spell on the sidelines after he pulled up with a recurrence of a thigh strain during Tuesday's defeat at Doncaster. New signing Charlie Austin made his debut in the 1-0 reverse at the Keepmoat Stadium and now looks set to be handed his home bow. Midfielder Chris McCann (knee) remains a long-term absentee but the Clarets have no other major concerns as they bid to reignite their promotion challenge.
