Away win the perfect fillip - Howe

Burnley boss Eddie Howe believes his side are now well set for a run of games on the road after their 3-1 npower Championship win at Watford. The Clarets were helped on their way by a comical Dale Bennett own goal and, although Danny Graham wiped out the deficit before the break, second-half goals from Chris Eagles and Chris Iwelumo wrapped up the points. It was the first of four consecutive away matches for Howe's side, who are poised for a play-off push after recording their second win on the bounce. "It's a very good start to what is a tough run of games. Four away games in a row is quite rare at any level, so to start with a win I thought was crucial and now we go to Cardiff in good form and good spirits," he said. "I thought we tried to play good football on what is a difficult pitch. We had to tweak things slightly from normal, just because it was not conducive to playing in your own half, so we went a bit more direct at times. "The quality of our goals added into that, apart from the first one, we're really pleased with. "We lived on the edge for a while. Our defending at times was a little bit loose. We can defend better than that, but going forward we always look like we're going to score and we created a number of chances."
