Austin in league team for just the second time

Charlie Austin's performance at Watford has earned him a place in this week's Football League Championship Team of the Week.

Incredibly this is only the second time Charlie has been placed in the team, the other occasion being after the 5-2 win against Peterborough when he was eventually credited with three of our goals in a 5-2 win.

On that occasion both Chris McCann and Joseph Mills were selected but for the Easter weekend he's the only Burnley player in the team and he's alongside Ipswich's David McGoldrick up front.

Ipswich are the only team to have more than one player included. Alongside McGoldrick is defender Luke Chambers.

Ian Holloway might want to take a look at the teams this season. His striker, Glenn Murray has been named six time and his former player Tom Ince has just one less selection. They are the two players who have been in the team on the most occasions this season.

Austin now joins Lee Grant, McCann, Mills, Jason Shackell and Kieran Trippier who have all been named twice whilst Ross Wallace has been selected once.

This week's team is: Matt Gilks (Blackpool), Alan Dunne (Millwall), Luke Chambers (Ipswich), Martin Cranie (Barnsley), Ahmed Elmohamady (Hull), Nathan Redmond (Birmingham), Jeff Hendrick (Derby), Johnnie Jackson (Charlton), Jermaine Johnson (Sheffield Weds), Charlie Austin (Burnley), David McGoldrick (Ipswich).
