Argyle extend Eckersley loan deal
Championship strugglers Plymouth Argyle have extended the loan deal of Burnley full-back Richard Eckersley until the end of the season.[LNB] Eckersley originally joined the Pilgrims on a month's loan in early March and he will now see out the campaign at Home Park.[LNB]Since linking up with Argyle, Eckersley has made four appearances, featuring on the right and left of the defence.[LNB]He is expected to retain his place in Paul Mariner's side for the Easter weekend double-header against Doncaster Rovers and Middlesbrough.[LNB]The 21-year-old joined Burnley from Manchester United last summer, but he has yet to appear in the Premier League during his time at Turf Moor.[LNB]
