Burnley came from two goals behind to earn a point and Arfield was an influential player for us and came closer than anyone to completing the comeback with a winner when he saw his shot from the edge of the box rebound into play off the inside of the post.
He secured 31.5% of the man of the match vote, some way ahead of Sam Vokes, scorer of the first goal, who came second with a 14.6% share. The two central defenders took the next two places with Duff finishing third with 13.5% and Jason Shackell fourth with 10.7% of the vote.
Those four players were also in the points in the player ratings. Arfield was again the winner with a rating of 7.73 but this time it was Shackell in second place with 7.47. Third place was shared by three players, all of whom had a rating of 7.20 out of 10. They were Duff and Vokes and goalkeeper Tom Heaton.
Arfield, therefore, won the maximum ten points towards the Clarets Mad Player of the Year. Vokes collected five points and there were four points for both Duff and Shackell and two points for Heaton.
The result of the vote means Vokes has narrowed Shackell's lead at the top of the player of the year table by one point but both have extended their lead over third place Danny Ings. Arfield's ten points have now taken him above Heaton into sixth place, just five points behind David Jones and Kieran Trippier.
