And Long continues at Accy

First Wes Fletcher, then Kevin McDonald, and now Kevin Long has extended his stay at Accrington Stanley by a further month. Long's loan at the Crown Ground got off to the worst possible start when he was, somewhat harshly, sent off just a few minutes into his debut against Rotherham. Because of a ridiculous dismissal in our reserve game at Tranmere it meant he had to serve a two match ban before he could really get his loan spell underway. He's done that now and has played in three games this month, playing well enough for manager John Coleman to ask for an extension.Kevin will now remain with Accrington until 11th December and that will mean he's available for four more league games and potentially an FA Cup tie if Burnley give him permission to play. That takes the total of Burnley players out on loan to four with Kevin McDonald in the Championship with Scunthorpe and Richard Eckersley, Wes Fletcher and Kevin Long all with League Two clubs Bradford City, Stockport and Accrington.
