Alexander: We'll fight to the death
The Turf Moor club sit third from bottom and three points from safety heading into Sunday's home derby clash with Blackburn.[LNB]But Alexander told the club's official website: "We are not putting our heads in the sand. We know we have got to pull out results and wins to achieve what we want to do. But talking to the lads and listening to the lads we are confident we can do it.[LNB]"We are banging on the door at the moment but we've got to kick it through. We can't keep saying it's bad luck, or whatever. The games are there for us to win.[LNB]"Through whatever scenario, we are not doing that at the moment, but the belief is still there and the will is definitely still there. We all want to stay in this division and be successful in doing that and the lads are confident we can do it."[LNB]Regarding this weekend's clash, Alexander added: "We have got to take the game to Blackburn and make things happen. The noise and the atmosphere inside the Turf will be fantastic to play in."[LNB][LNB]
