Alexander keen to put things right

Burnley captain Graham Alexander says his side are determined to erase the pain of their defeat to Swansea with victory at home to Preston this weekend. The Clarets lost 1-0 at the Liberty Stadium before the international break but former Deepdale favourite Alexander is confident they can bounce straight back. He said: "We've got our own aspirations in this league and we count ourselves as one of the better teams. "We went to Swansea looking to win the game and it was disappointing not to get anything out of it. "We've got to put that right against Preston when we play them at our place and if we can get three points that keeps us in touch."
