Alexander hopes for play-off joy
The veteran defender, who enjoyed previous spells with Scunthorpe, Luton and Preston, has never won promotion via the play-offs during his long career.[LNB]He is hoping his luck will finally change as Burnley aim to beat Bristol City this weekend to secure a top-six finish and move a step closer to the top flight.[LNB]Alexander said: "My record in the play-offs is not very good.[LNB]"In three finals and three semi-finals I've not been successful, so let's hope it's seventh time lucky."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
