The Clarets beat Reading 3-0 on aggregate to set up the Wembley showdown against the Blades and encourage hopes of reaching the Premier League. Alexander, 37 and a veteran of the play-offs, said: "We are trying to stress that we're not going to settle for Wembley. "We want to go there and win because it is a horrible place to lose. "People say it is a great place to play but you could play on the moon and get beaten and it's rubbish. Wherever you play you want to win."
