Alexander back at North End

Graham Alexander has returned to Preston on a one-year deal following his departure from Burnley.[LNB] The 39-year-old Scotland international made exactly 400 appearances for the Lilywhites during his first spell at Deepdale between 1999 and 2007, scoring 63 times.[LNB]And he is delighted to have returned to the club as Phil Brown's men bid to bounce back from last season's relegation from the Championship.[LNB]Coventry-born Alexander told Preston's official website: "I am really excited as it was something I was hoping for.[LNB]"I have finalised leaving Burnley today (Wednesday) so I could finally make the move. It is brilliant.[LNB]"I didn't sleep much last night because I was looking forward to training with the boys today and I am looking forward to everything."[LNB]
