    Scots denied by late penalty
    "As a lifelong (I am 73!) thistle supporter,I think they have shot themselves in the foot.They could have played reserve players,and,in a formation they don't usually use.This would have let them suss out Annan Athletic,the size of the pitch,and the type of grass (the Firhill grass is sown to accommodate the Rugby team who share our stadium)ahead of the Cup game.Of course,knowing Thistle,they would probably get humped!!"
