Bristol Rovers striker Richard Walker has penned a new deal that will keep him at the Memorial Stadium for another two seasons.

The 27-year-old former Aston Villa trainee scored ten league goals in his first season with the Pirates after joining the club from Oxford United last summer.

"I'm pleased to have signed my new contract before pre-season training gets underway," he told the club's official website.

"Now that I've signed a new contract I feel really settled. I've always said that I feel this is a club that's going places and I'm just pleased that I've been given the chance to be part of it."
