Vale hold on to striker Haldane

Bristol Rovers striker Lewis Haldane has extended his loan spell at League Two side Port Vale for a third month.The 24-year-old has impressed since joining the Valiants on 1 September. Vale manager Micky Adams told BBC Radio Stoke: "Lewis has got the ingredient that can hurt teams at this level, which is real pace. "I still think he can get better and I still think he needs to be a little bit more selfish, but he's always a threat and we're happy with him." Haldane, who has scored one goal.... read more
