Trollope warns Rovers failures
03 Feb 2010 - 15:41:32
Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope has warned that he will ship players out of the club if there is a repeat of the performance which saw the Pirates thrashed 5-0 at Leyton Orient.
Trollope was especially concerned as the loss to the O's followed a 3-2 home defeat to lowly Wycombe Wanderers at the weekend.
He told the Evening Post: "It was a very poor performance and the only people who came out of the night with any credit were our supporters, who had a long journey here and supported the team right through to the end.
"But we feel ashamed about the way we performed.
"If people don't have the mentality to produce on a regular basis, they will quickly find themselves out of the team and out of the football club, because we won't accept it.
"We are still in a good position, but the last two performances have been alarming. If people aren't prepared to work hard then they will be out of the football club."
