Trollope warning for Pirates

Bristol Rovers head coach Paul Trollope has told his side to focus on the job in hand as they prepare for the League Two play-offs. The Pirates go into their two-legged clash with Lincoln City on the back of an unbeaten eight-game run in the league, but Trollope has warned that that counts for nothing now. He told the Evening Post: "I've told the players there's nothing worse than getting to the play-offs and then losing in the semi-finals or the final. "There are extra weeks of hard work on the end of the season now and those weeks can only be justified by winning promotion. "There needs to be a collective hunger and desire to work again and not just to say that we're the form team so we're going to sail through. "We have to earn the right and then make it happen."
