Trollope unhappy with Pirates

Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope has warned his players to improve their performances in the closing weeks of the League One campaign. The Pirates have lost three of their last four games and Trollope is beginning to lose patience with some members of his squad. He told the Evening Post: "The players have been told in no uncertain terms about what is expected between now and the end of the season. "We will be looking at them very closely because we want to finish the season strongly. "If any individuals start easing up then they will find themselves out of the team because we do have options and other possibilities. "We have made progress this season, but we need to finish strongly to be in the top half, which is where we feel we should be. "We are going to put high expectations on ourselves next season, because we want to take a big step forward."
