Trollope stands by changes
20 Apr 2009 - 14:56:54
Bristol Rovers boss Paul Trollope has again spoken of his desire to make major changes at the club next season.
The Pirates earned a superb 4-2 home win over Millwall at the weekend, but that did little to change Trollope's plans for a better overall show next term.
He told the Evening Post: "We are making serious plans for next season already and we have been for the last four or five weeks.
"We are looking at models of the top teams in the division to see what they have got in certain areas and how they do it, because we want to emulate that.
"There are going to be changes. We feel we want to make a step forward.
"That doesn't necessarily mean the players out of contract will be leaving, but we will be bringing in a number of players, because we do want to take a big step forward.
"There will be some new faces arriving at the club."
