Trollope satisfied with win

Bristol Rovers head coach Paul Trollope admitted he was left 'satisfied' by Tuesday's 2-0 victory over Cheltenham Town.

The Pirates extended their unbeaten run to 11 matches as they climbed up to 15th place in the table courtesy of goals from Craig Hinton and Rickie Lambert.

"It was a performance that when you are a coach or a manager, you find very satisfying," he told the club's official website.

"I thought we deserved to keep the clean sheet and to score two goals and win the game comfortably is very pleasing.

"The first half was a bit scrappy at times, but I thought overall the better side won.

"We kept going all game and defensively we held a good line.

"We won a lot of headers and when we didn't win headers we made sure we were first to the second ball."
