Trollope praises listed trio

Bristol Rovers boss Paul Trollope has praised transfer-listed trio Sean Rigg, Lewis Haldane and Andy Williams for their efforts in pre-season training.

All three forwards have been told that they can leave the Pirates, but no bids have been fielded by Trollope as yet.

He told the Evening Post: "We have had a few enquiries but all three players have got their heads down, worked hard and are making sure they do the right things for themselves.

"Doors are never shut, they can open outside and inside the football club.

"You have to take the rough and the smooth in football and all of them have played quite a few games for the club, so they are probably disappointed to find themselves in their current situation.

"But they are reacting the right way to help themselves."
