Bristol Rovers boss Paul Trollope claimed the Pirates were well worth their 1-0 FA Cup second round replay victory over League One side Bournemouth.
Richard Walker earned Rovers a third round home tie with Hereford by scoring the only goal midway through the second half.
"We were happy with our performance and I felt we deserved to win," he told the club's official website.
"We had the better of the first half without scoring and we said to the players at half-time that we didn't want to let the same thing happen to us that we saw against Hartlepool on Saturday.
"It was important we went out in the second half and really kicked on - and we did that.
"In the end I thought we ran out worthy winners and I was pleased with some good individual performances and a very good collective display."
