Trollope accepts red card

Bristol Rovers boss Paul Trollope accepts the referee was right to send him off in the closing stages of the 2-1 win against Leyton Orient.

The victory lifted the Pirates into the top half of the League One table, but the three-point haul was marred by Trollope's dismissal.

He admitted: "I went in to apologise to the referee and officials afterwards. I went outside my technical area, which I know you aren't meant to do.

"Sometimes the situation overtakes you. I was in the wrong."

Meanwhile, Danny Coles is set to have a scan on the knee he injured in the win, with Trollope adding: "We hope it's not too bad because he's an important player for us."
