Stoke keeper joins Rovers
17 Feb 2009 - 10:55:41
Bristol Rovers have confirmed the signing of Stoke City goalkeeper Danzelle St Louis-Hamilton on a one-month loan deal.
The highly-rated 18-year-old has been brought in following an injury to Rovers keeper Mike Green and is there as back-up for number one Steve Phillips.
"Following the injury to Mike Green we needed to get some cover for our goalkeeping situation," explained Rovers' director of football Lennie Lawrence.
"Dan is a young lad, just shy of his 19th birthday, and we hope that joining our squad will be a good experience for him.
"He has come to provide that vital cover, and will be on the bench for tonight's game against Yeovil."
