Start date for community hospital

Building work on a £54m community hospital at Hengrove Park in south Bristol is to start in the new year.Contracts are due to be signed in February, with work starting a few weeks later. It is estimated the first patients will be treated in 2012. An NHS Bristol spokeswoman said the Department of Health announcement was "exciting news" for the project.
