Ryan makes Rovers exit

Bristol Rovers have cancelled the contract of Robbie Ryan by mutual consent and the defender has left the Memorial Stadium.
The 29-year-old full-back has not featured for the Pirates first-team this season, despite returning from a serious ankle injury that sidelined him for most of the previous 12 months.
Ryan made 65 appearances for Rovers after signing from Millwall in 2004.
"He's experienced a really tough year or so. Just before Christmas 2005 he was a regular in the side, until he unfortunately picked up an injury," Rovers boss Paul Trollope told the club's official website.
"Since that time we have seen a number of good performances at left-back from Chris Carruthers and Aaron Lescott.
"To add to his problems, Robbie picked up another injury shortly after we reported back for pre-season training, so he's had a nightmare.
"I hope that he finds another club because his attitude and his professionalism in the last year has been fantastic."
