Rovers seal double deal

Bristol Rovers have continued their preparations for life in League One by signing Hereford United striker Andy Williams and Cardiff City defender Joe Jacobson. Both players have penned three-year deals with the Pirates. Williams scored 20 goals in 84 appearances during his three years at Edgar Street, while Jacobson enjoyed a successful loan spell with Rovers last term. Meanwhile, Notts County utility player David Pipe is believed to be on the verge of teaming up with Paul Trollope's side.
