Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope has conceded it is now a tall order for his side to secure a play-off place.
Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Crewe has left the Pirates languishing in 12th place in the League One table.
"We were disappointed with the goal we conceded but we showed a strong mentality to bounce back into the game and turn the tide," said Trollope.
"The keeper made an exceptional save to keep out Jo Kuffour at the end and I think if the game had gone on five or ten minutes more I think we would have won.
"There's ten points now between us and the play-offs which isn't insurmountable, but it's a big ask."
