Rovers move for Jacobson

Bristol Rovers have signed Cardiff City defender Joe Jacobson on loan until the end of the season.

The Wales Under-21s international has already spent a month on loan with the Pirates' League Two rivals Accrington Stanley this season.

Jacobson made seven appearances for Stanley before returning to Cardiff in December.

The 20-year-old is eligible to face MK Dons in Saturday's League Two fixture, but will be cup-tied for the southern area final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy against city rivals Bristol City.
