Rovers end tour with win

Bristol Rovers have returned to England following their pre-season tour of Scandinavia.

Their final match, against LB07, resulted in a 1-0 win but it came at a cost as defender Joe Jacobson suffered a suspected medial ligament injury.

Goalkeeper Steve Phillips, talking to the club's official website, said the injury may "keep him out of the side for a while".

"They were a very physical side," Phillips added. "But we came out on top although it was very disappointing to lose Joe with a knee injury.

"We've had a great week out here. I've been a professional for 12 years and I would say that this is the best tour I've been on in my career so far."
