Bristol Rovers striker Richard Walker has called for Barrow's James Cotterill to be punished for the incident that left Sean Rigg with a suspected broken jaw at the weekend.
Cotterill appeared to punch Rigg in the face as the Conference North side lost 3-2 to Rovers in the FA Cup first round clash at Holker Street.
"None of the lads really saw what happened, I just turned round and saw him go down," Walker told the Pirates' official website.
"Sean said it was an elbow to the face, and a couple of the other lads said he did the same to them at corners, so hopefully the cameras can pick it up clearly enough and something can be done about it.
"There's no place for that in football especially to a young lad. It's scandalous really so hopefully something will be done about it."
