Rovers clear first hurdle
13 May 2007 - 11:00:01
Bristol Rovers head coach Paul Trollope was content with his side's 2-1 victory at home to Lincoln City in the first leg of their play-off semi-final.
Goals from Craig Disley and Richard Walker gave the Pirates a slender lead to take into the return leg.
Trollope said: "We're quite pleased with it. Taking a lead up there is obviously a boost for us.
"It's only half-time but we're pleased to be one up. We're happy to be in the lead.
"We're not kidding ourselves because we know it will be a big challenge. They have got good home form and good players, so they're always likely to score a goal.
"We're pleased, but it's one box ticked and two more to go."
