Rovers break scoring duck
23 Jan 2010 - 17:30:57
Bristol Rovers scored for the first time in the league in 2010 as they secured the three points against Hartlepool.
A Chris Lines goal inside the first five minutes sent Rovers on their way. Darryl Duffy made sure of the three points 25 minutes from time.
Carlisle and Stockport played out a goalless draw at Brunton Park.
County are now winless in their last 13 games, the worst run in the division.
Gillingham are winless in their last four league games after failing to score against Colchester at the Priestfield stadium. Colchester got their first draw since November.
Jason Puncheon was the sole scorer in the meeting between MK Dons and Tranmere. His goal in the seventh minute meant a third win in four for the Dons.
Despite having top scorer Grant Holt sent off in the first-half, Norwich were too strong for Brentford, winning by the smallest of margins courtesy of Chris Martin's sixteenth goal of the season.
Neil Harris was once again decisive for Millwall, bagging the only goal of the game at Oldham.
Every time Harris has scored for the Lions this season, they have gone on to win.
Wycombe snatched a well deserved draw at Southend, courtesy of Josh Payne's second-half equaliser.
The Essex side had opened the scoring four minutes previously with Alan McCormack's second goal in three games.
Yeovil picked up a win after Stefan Stam and Ryan Mason got on the scoresheet in the first half of their game against south coast rivals Exeter.
The Grecians had pulled one back after Stam's opener but were eventually beaten.
