Port Vale snap up winger Haldane

Transfer-listed Bristol Rovers winger Lewis Haldane has joined League Two side Port Vale on a month's loan. The 24-year-old, who was promoted with Rovers in 2007, could make his debut against Grimsby on Saturday. Haldane, who can also operate as a striker, spent the whole of last season on loan at Oxford United, where he scored three goals in 37 starts.
